may have after viewing the Houston web site.
The information in this section will be expanded over
time. If, after reviewing the site and the FAQ you still
can’t find the answer to your question please feel

A. Pricing information can be found in

A. Usually, please ask at the time of
booking.
A. The maximum number of children
in a Birthday Ride is 8. The minimum
number is 4 unless otherwise agreed.
A. Please email us for up to date
availability.
A. Birthday rides are normally ½hr
sessions.
A. Cheques should be made payable to :
“I Comrie (A Firm)”.
A. In general, cancellations must be made
a minimum of 24 hours prior to the
lesson otherwise no refund will be given.
A. We ask that you pay a minimum of
1 lessons in advance.
A. Yes, due to bank charges the
minimum we can accept a cheque for is
£15.
A. We accept payment by Cash, Cheque or
Bank Transfer.
A. There are no specific height restrictions. Our
horses can accomodate up to 14½ Stone in
weight.
A. Yes. All new riders MUST complete a Riders
Registration form prior to their first lesson at
Houston. This form can be downloaded here.
A copy can also be obtained when you arrive at
Houston. Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes
prior to your lesson start time to allow you to
complete the form if you have not already
done so.
A. To help ensure that the lessons can start
on time we ask that you arrive 10-15
minutes prior to the start time you were
given for your lesson.
A. Yes, we provide hard hats FREE OF
CHARGE that conform to the relevant safety
standards.
From 1st January 2016 only hats with the
PAS015 kite mark should be worn.
A. Any new client would require to have a ½
hour private assessment first if they wish to
join our ¾hr or 1 hour sessions.
A. Generally children are taken from
3½ – 4 years old and upwards.
